Domain and SSL Certificate Terms

Registration, renewal, transfer and recovery of domains, disputes and SSL certificates.

Please read this agreement carefully, as it contains important information regarding your legal rights and remedies.

SN WHITE HOSTING – Domain and SSL Certificate Terms

Effective date: October 24, 2026

These terms govern the registration, renewal, transfer and recovery of domain names and the purchase of SSL certificates. They apply together with the General Terms of Service, the Cancellation, Refund and Withdrawal Policy and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who provides the service

The service is provided by SN SOLUTIONS LLC (EIN: 32-0817400), trading as SN WHITE HOSTINGâ„¢.

We are not an ICANN-accredited registrar. We register and manage domains as a reseller, through ICANN-accredited registrars and the registry of each extension (for example, NIC.es for .es domains). Each registry and registrar has its own rules, which also apply to your domain.

Paid SSL certificates are issued by an independent certificate authority, which checks the details and signs the certificate.

2. Domain registration

2.1. Availability and activation

  • Registration starts once we receive full payment and the order is confirmed.
  • A domain showing as available does not guarantee registration: it is approved by the relevant registry, and someone else may register it first.
  • Some extensions have their own requirements, such as local presence, residence, being a company or providing documents. We will tell you about them before you order. These checks may delay activation.

2.2. Holder and registrant details

  • You are the holder of the domain. We register it in your name with the details you give us.
  • You must provide complete, accurate and up-to-date details and keep them that way. False or outdated details may lead the registry to suspend or cancel the domain, with no right to a refund.
  • Depending on the rules of each extension, some registrant details may appear in the public WHOIS/RDAP database. Where the registry allows it, we offer a privacy service that hides them, on the terms and at the price shown in the client area.
  • We, the registrar and the registry each process the registrant's data for our own part of the service. This is explained in the Privacy Policy.

3. Renewal

  • Domains renew automatically at the end of each period, for the same term, unless you turn renewal off.
  • We will issue the renewal invoice before the expiry date and let you know by email. If you have a saved payment method, it will be charged automatically; otherwise you must pay the invoice before expiry.
  • You can turn off automatic renewal or cancel the domain from the client area (https://clients.snwhitehosting.com). We recommend doing so at least 15 days before expiry, so we can process the cancellation with the registry.
  • You are responsible for keeping track of expiry dates and keeping your contact and payment details up to date.

4. Expired domains and recovery

If a domain expires without being renewed, it goes through these stages:

StageUsual lengthWhat happens
ActiveUntil the expiry dateThe domain works normally
Grace period5 days after expiryIt stays in your name and you can renew it at the normal price. We may disable DNS
Redemption periodThe following 30 daysYou can recover it by paying the renewal plus a redemption fee
DeletionAfter redemptionThe registry deletes it and anyone can register it
  • Some extensions have different periods, set by their registry, which prevail over those in this table.
  • We will let you know when the domain expires, when the grace period starts and when the redemption period starts, at your account email and the domain contacts.
  • To recover a domain in redemption, open a support ticket.
  • Once deleted, a domain cannot be recovered and we are not responsible if someone else registers it.

5. Transfers

5.1. Transferring a domain to SN WHITE HOSTING

To transfer a domain to us:

  • It must be active and in your name, and not locked by a dispute, a security measure or a legal order.
  • At least 60 days must have passed since it was registered or last transferred, unless ICANN or registry rules set another period.
  • You must give us the authorisation code (Auth/EPP) from your current provider and confirm the request.

The request is started from the client area or with a ticket. The current provider normally has up to 5 days to approve or reject it. For most extensions, the transfer includes a one-year renewal, added to the remaining period. The transfer price is published on the website, depends on the extension and is paid in advance.

We may reject or be unable to complete a transfer if these requirements are not met, if the registrant details are incorrect, or if the registry or the current provider refuses it.

5.2. Transferring a domain to another provider

You can transfer your domain to another provider whenever you like, provided you have no unpaid invoices with us, the domain is not locked and the minimum period since its registration or last transfer has passed. We will give you the authorisation code from the client area or by ticket.

6. Use of domains

You may not register or use a domain to:

  • Infringe trademarks, copyright or other third-party rights.
  • Carry out illegal activities such as phishing, fraud, malware distribution or impersonation.
  • Send spam.
  • Get around the extension's requirements or breach ICANN or registry rules.

If we receive a well-founded notice or an order from an authority, we may suspend or lock the domain, as explained on the Abuse, Intellectual Property and DSA page.

7. Domain disputes

  • Generic domains (.com, .net, .org…) and many others are subject to ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), handled by authorised providers such as WIPO or Forum. Country-code domains (for example, .es) have their own procedures, which prevail where they apply.
  • By registering a domain you agree to submit to those procedures.
  • We do not decide disputes between third parties. When we receive a valid decision, we carry it out: we may lock the domain while the proceedings last, suspend it or transfer it according to the decision. We will tell you about the measures whenever possible.

8. SSL certificates

8.1. Free SSL included with hosting

Hosting plans include a free domain-validated SSL certificate for the hosted domains, issued and renewed automatically while the domain points to our servers. It is provided without a certificate authority warranty.

8.2. Paid SSL

  • We offer domain validated (DV), organization validated (OV) and extended validation (EV) certificates, issued by a certificate authority.
  • DV: you only need to prove you control the domain (by email, DNS or a file). It is usually issued within minutes.
  • OV and EV: the certificate authority checks that your company or organisation exists and verifies its details, and may ask you for documents or call you. Issuance can take several days and depends on that check; we are not responsible for delays or rejections by the certificate authority.
  • Validity: the subscription lasts for the period ordered. If industry rules limit the maximum validity of each certificate to a shorter period, we will reissue it free of charge during the subscription.
  • Installation: on our hosting we can install it for you; on other servers, installation is your responsibility.
  • Revocation: the certificate authority may revoke a certificate if it is misused, if its details are no longer correct or if the private key is compromised. If you suspect your private key has been exposed, tell us immediately so we can request revocation.
  • By ordering a paid SSL you also accept the certificate authority's subscriber agreement, which we will show you before issuance. The warranty provided with the certificate is the one set by that authority.

9. Prices

The prices of each extension and certificate are published on the website and may include fees set by the registry or the certificate authority. Renewals are invoiced at the price in force on the renewal date. If we change prices, we will give you at least 15 days' notice.

10. Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel a domain or a certificate whenever you like, but domain registrations, renewals and transfers and SSL certificates already issued are not refunded, because they are carried out immediately and cannot be undone.
  • If you are a consumer, when ordering you ask for the service to be carried out immediately and acknowledge that, once completed, you lose the right of withdrawal, as explained in the Cancellation, Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
  • If payment is not made, the domain may be suspended and then deleted according to the registry's rules.

11. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Decisions, delays or rejections by registries, registrars or certificate authorities.
  • The loss of a domain due to non-payment, failure to renew or outdated contact details.
  • Disputes, third-party claims or seizures arising from your use of the domain.

This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Contact and authorities

We cooperate with authorities and courts and give them domain data when the law requires it. If we receive such a request, we will let you know unless the law prohibits it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms to adapt them to changes in the law, in the rules of ICANN, the registries or the certificate authorities, or in our services. We will let you know by email or in the client area at least 15 days in advance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel the affected services free of charge before they take effect.
